The Story is waiting. Jump in.

The Bible is not a collection of stories. It is one story, the story of God’s plan to rescue His people from sin and death. It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ. And it’s our story, too.

San Marcos International Church is using The Gospel Project to teach Kids of all ages to dive deeply into God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ. In every lesson, our are immersed in the gospel and learn that when the gospel becomes part of our lives, we become a part of the story, too…we become the very hands and feet in God’s gospel project.

The Sunday School program at San Marcos International Church serves and teaches children from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:00.  Kids will be dismissed for class from the worship service following the praise and worship time.

In Sunday School, kids will be grouped into classes by age group.  Class groups are:  –Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten –1st through 3rd grades  –4th through 6th grades.

Sunday School starts off with small group time led by our dedicated team of small group leaders and helpers.  Following an introduction to the day’s lesson, the entire Sunday School meets for a large group session, where kids learn about the bible story and the major topics of the lesson through skits, games, video clips, and teaching.  Then, kids return to their small groups to dive deep into the the lesson and learn how the bible story on that particular day relates to God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.  Through activities, discussion, and games, kids learn the key bible passage and internalize the lesson.
