⋅ And he said to all, ¨If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever saves his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.¨
⋅ ¨1Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.¨
⋅ ¨10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.¨

⋅ ¨11 Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.¨

⋅ ¨ 23 One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining at table at Jesus’ side,¨
⋅ ¨4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5 For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or fo the darkness. 6 So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate os faith and love, and for a helmet of hope and salvation.¨
